Some New Years tools...

If your like me and tired up buying and replacing batteries and hate cords around the garage, well here you go. Picked up these two led light sticks from Maxxeon.

The first two pictures are the work star 1000 with a nice magnetic base, a small square of paper towel will keep your paint from getting scratched. Tilts 120 degrees and the wide base keeps it from tipping.

The last picture is the work star 420 inspector maxx, both these use a usb charging port. Best part about these, they are made in Canada eh not china :D

My wife got me a nice ti-tech headband type headlight for Christmas. Holy crap it always points at what I'm working on. Even under the infernal dashboard. This magnetic base light in this thread is still far better than the junk I have been working with, rolling off the fender and ending up under the truck. All in all it's the LED that has made working on these hulks far easier for us in our 'happy golden years'. Always a huge plus when the product is actually made here in our good ol' USA.
