It would be interesting to know what was done to adapt that pump. I think the pump with the glass bowl was late forties but I know very little about cars in that time frame. If you take it apart tell us what you find, maybe pictures?

It may well be that a later top was substituted for the original top as that is possible, at least in theory.

That copper line between the pump and carburetor is scary.

Hi; Some of the 6 cyl pumps have the angled mount holes and possibly some mixed parts were used. the 6 cyl actuating arms are wrong for the B motors though. Newc

As DavidG stated substituting a later top on the early base is possible.
Over the years, I have seen many "hybrid" pumps.
The engine doesn't care what's on the other side of the diaphragm.

Seems as though it would be possible to fabricate an adapter plate of suitable thickness to adapt a later model 6 cyl pump. And make any necessary mods to the arm.

A lot of effort given than original pumps are not the least bit scarce.

That appears to be an AC Delco style produced for GM cars of the era if I'm not mistaking. I have a couple that look identical to that and fit a B motor.

Yes, indeed, such as this AC Delco pump listed to fit '29-'33 GM

AC also made fuel pumps for Ford at that time.

I have the twin to that one and another that looks very similar but is unmarked.

Wonder if GM pump 29-33 has the same clearance etc ?? how hard to find one of these ? might as well pay the $250 on ebay ? or carry an electric for a spare ..
