Oil Bath Air Cleaner ID 4 Attachment(s)
Can anyone identify this oil bath air cleaner? Is it an original part? What year(s)? Other than the words "FRONT" and "OIL LEVEL" there are no part numbers or marks I can find. It is a little over 9" in diameter and 7" high and weighs about 4.5 lbs (without oil). Came off my '36 which I replaced with a correct unit. Thanks

Re: Oil Bath Air Cleaner ID 1 Attachment(s)
I now have the standard dry type as shown on page 105 of the 35/36 book. See the photo below of my current air cleaner (that I restored). The old oil bath one I have is not the same as the optional ones shown on page 125 of the 35/36 book. I think it is a later one. In doing some searches I found this one that looks just like the one I removed - Similar air cleaner on UK eBay
He claims it to be off a 51 Ford. Ring any bells to anyone? Thanks, John |

Here is a '50 or '51 air cleaner.

Re: Oil Bath Air Cleaner ID Ok, then I guess it's not a '50 or '51. Any other guesses as to what this air cleaner might be from? (see photos at top of this thread)
