This was what a buyer wrote in a e-mail to me after receiving one of my pedal bumper plates.

For Sale: 1933 1934 Ford Pedal Bumper Plate. This is a absolutely perfect copy of an original. The part is shear cut and all holes are punched. All edges are professionally deburred. It is made from heavy 18 gauge cold rolled steel the same thickness as the floor of the car. The D nut is crimped into a D shaped hole so it will not rotate. My goal in making this is that you could not tell it from a original and I have achieved that goal. I am a perfectionist and my work show this. Part is as good as it gets. My photos tell the story. It is the closest thing to putting a NOS part on your car. If you think the price is to high here is some information about it. It takes me a day and a half to make this part with the quality you would want and demand. So that is 12 hours. Now divide the $100.00 asking price by 12 hours and I am making $8.33 an hour to make this. I am not taking anyone over at that price. I make these parts for the love of the hobby.
