Early 1928 Bumper Clamps

I am looking for some used bumper clamps for an early 1928 A. I say used because I don't want new but not necessarily original. Anyways, I have checked on ebay and all of the used ones cost too much money. Anybody know where I can find some reasonably priced used ones?

If you want original early '28 bumper clamps that are good enough to re-plate, you are going to pay a lot for them. Original Ford script rears that are in good shape are not easy to come by. In addition, the plain, shallow fronts are usually equally hard to find. The repop Ford script ones are not even close to what the originals are plus they are not forged like originals, making them an unsafe item in my opinion.

I was looking for something that is far from perfect condition wise for my car. I can see that they are hard to find - I could not find any at Jefferson last weekend but found a lot of other A parts.

Chrs,
You're a good SPORT!
Once needed an engine for my '39 Dodge, bought a rear ended '46 Dodge with a newly rebuilt engine! Sold the WHOLE front end, for MORE than I paid for the car. A wrecking yard bought the rest, for the 4 doors, windshield, back glass & the BEAUTIFUL Velour Interior.

Yes I am! The key is to find something at a low enough price to flip. Don't know if I am in the budget to do that right now though, but I can definetely get on board with it. Remember the days of 500 dollar cars that still ran?
