Camraderie 'Been absent from this forum for awhile as my entire inventory of early Ford stuff found other homes, mostly given away in order to keep others' interest in the hobby going. Worked in some cases, didn't in a few.
What impressed me before I went absent from this forum remains. The camraderie among participants on this forum is like no other I've witnessed. Genuine affection and friendship have grown from the relationships formed through this crazy "early Ford" thing. It's a good thing. Keep it going... |
Re: Camraderie I agree, have met some great friends here, and in the Early Ford V8 Club. I cherish them all.

Re: Camraderie It was very kind of you to actually give away your parts to those who needed them
to pursue their interest in the old car hobby. |
Re: Camraderie Sorry you had to liquidate but it sounds like you did it in a very hobby friendly way. There have been several threads on the HAMB on the aging issue of most of us who are into this hobby and what happens to whatever is left upon our demise. Thank you for posting - it's a great example for whoever is in the same situation ....

Re: Camraderie It may sound kind of glib, but I believe the bulk of the knowledge and experience available on these forums will be gone within the next few years.
I would say the average age on here is somewhere in the mid 70s range. At 49 I feel like a high school kid on here compared to the knowledge and experience you guys bring to the table. Kirk |
Re: Camraderie Kirk at 55 I know how you feel -I feel it is our duty to pass on what we have been taught -Karl
