Top Sealer??

The previous owner of my coupe told me to keep the edges of the top sealed but couldn't remember what product he used. I keep the top cleaned and treat it with that 303 cleaner and sealer but not sure what to use around the edges. Would sure like to hear what the Ford Barn folks like best

It is supposed to provide UV protection. It brightens the fabric somewhat like Armor All but doesn't seem to be as oily. But I'm looking for something to use on the edges like a seam sealer or mastic.

Have heard not to use Armor all, why is this?
