pickup fctory side and rear reflectors

there is an article in the June 2018 Auto Restorer about a barn find 39 big pickup. A photo shows reflectors on the sides of the box and the tailgate. The article sez they were factory options. True??
I don't see the in any accessory catalogue for '39?
