When did they make 35/36 running boards Does anybody know when they started making running boards for the 35/36 Ford. I know in the early 1980's, the V8 shop (which I think does not exist anymore) were making 33/34 boards because I purchased a pair. But at that time, Model 40's were the only cars I was interested in so I do not know if they were making the newer boards or not.

Re: When did they make 35/36 running boards I don't understand your 'when' question. And who are 'they?' Repro companies?
Try Drake, they've been putting out several model years of new boards with vulcanised rubber in the past couple of years. |
Re: When did they make 35/36 running boards I thought I was clear but guess not. I would like to know about what year were reproduction running boards for the 35/36 first come on the market. Can anybody remember buying them in the 60's, 70's, 80's etc.

Re: When did they make 35/36 running boards Repro's from Argentina were being imported, I believe, in the mid 70's by Ford Parts Obsolete in Long Beach,CA.They no longer are in business.

Re: When did they make 35/36 running boards JC Whitney had them in the 60's

Re: When did they make 35/36 running boards I bought a set of 40 Ford running boards from JC Whitney in the early 70's for $49.95. They weren't that bad. Just a little light on the metal thickness from originals. I sold them about 5 years ago on Ebay and got over $200 for them. Not bad for 35 years of use.
