Never used one but they are a good carb. I would only use one as a singular carb, too difficult to tune as multiples because of the vacuum power valve. IMO

The wizards are in the power valve,Holley used a power valve that opens when the engine is under load to prevent throttle lag.It is spring opened and vacuum closed and come in a variety of close settings so you can tune it to your vacuum signal.so basically you have to experiment with power valves and jets to get the right combination..

you can get a power valve 'plug' if you want to run duals

I have used them many times. i have one on my 1930 pickup, with a home made intake. It runs real strong 7-1 BF head
