Fuel shut off valve - Is this one for a Model A??

Is this a Model A fuel shut off valve?? What is rather puzzling is the odd shaped squared off area, by the threaded part, that screws in towards the gas tank.

The squared off area does not extend to the main part of the valve body and is rotated 45 degrees.....

Your thoughts?

Aftermarket? Russian GAZ? German?

I acquired it in Poland.....possibly a battle field find.

....as does the one from Snyders (and Brattons) as well:https://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/C...-A-3202-xl.jpg

....as does the one from Bert's:

....and it does not look like any of the ones shown in the Restoration/Judging Standards.
