Well not long now till the MAFCA meet in Sparks , Nevada, Sooo any update on the plans for Barners & wives too meet up , Got to be a restaurant & bar at the hotel one evening, ?? where we can get together & kick tires or is that tyres ? Thanks,

Someone was making arrangements , pos with organisers there, most days there is plenty on so suggestion one evening for few drinks or a meal , We did this at one regional meet & was great , Its cold here .

My 6 year old son and I will be attending, our first ever Model A meet outside of small local club events. We would love to meet some of you there!

We met with Dave and Trudy Vestal in Melbourne in January. Trudy is the Convention Chairperson. She offered a room in the Nugget for a Fordbarn meeting. Trudy suggested she would get a committee member who was on Fordbarn to organise it at their end.
But poor Trudy had a stroke 3 weeks ago, so both she and Dave are unable to continue and cannot be at the Convention.
Dave says Trudy is ok but in a rehab hospital having speech and other therapy.
Terribly bad luck. We will visit them when we arrive.
I think she suggested Dave McArthur might organise the meet. I know he is busy organising the repair tent.
DaveyMc29 are you there? Can you help?

As a starting point, I will suggest that we meet in the area where the Model A's are parked on Sunday, June 24 at 4:00pm. We will not have access to adult beverages, but we will have access to lots of Model A's. Plus we will not have to arrange a room to park in.

Bill, in the absence of any reply from Davey or other suggestions, yours is the only plan. Let's agree to meet as you suggest in the first instance and take it from there.

I will be there at 4 PM on Sunday!

I'm not sure exactly where the cars will be parked. One floor of the parking deck is what I understood.

The Repair Tent is a good alternate location, because it will be well marked.

To get into cooler air, we can always invade the Hospitality Room!

I will also be manning the MAFCA table in the convention area on Sunday from 10-11 AM (plus many other days). Everyone is encouraged to stop my there during the week to meet the Directors and share your comments with them.

The parking area for our cars will be in the 5 story free parking garage.
Obviously this will be all in the shade.
The latest plan was to have the repair area on the ground floor of this
garage facing the East parking.
My thought is the cars will probably be spread out over 5 floors.
I am not sure which floors are especially reserved for us.
Might choose either the repair area on ground floor or
The crossover floor to the hotel.... which I think is the 3rd floor.

so what is the out come re meet point , We have 4pm sunday 24th , But repair tent site or the parking lot , Or ??? Hurry up & decide its cold in NZ.

The Mossmans and Jordans Look forward to seeing you there Doug. As Derek says car park or repair tent?. Are both sites close together?
Are there lots of floors in the car park? If so is repair tent on same floor as car park. It is hard to visualise from far away but the Nugget sounds enormous. That is why I posted my mobile number.0116421486121

I will make a decision for all. We will meet at the repair tent at 4:00 on Sunday to start with. Should those of us that have Model A's bring them or do we just want to have a good meet and greet? I am bring my Victoria :).

Bill Thanks, so its 4pm at the repair tent & yes Bill we can repair your Vicky with all those Barners there not a problem , Now we need a Barn sticker to wear , could be picked up at rego , just a blank sticker & wright your Ford Barn name on it , could be fun, Warming up down under ,
