Rear Panel under TRUNK LID 1930-31 3 Attachment(s)
I'm still trying to find out what is missing. I'm converting a Rumble seat Roadster to a Trunk, the lower inner and outer panels are originals, but the holes & captive nuts don't match 4 on one 6 on the other. Is there an adaptor piece that is missing, or is the outer panel a 28-29?

Re: Rear Panel under TRUNK LID 1930-31 the outer panel below trunk lid for a 30-31 is 9'' 7/16 tall the 28-29 roadster panel is 9'' 1/2 1928-29 coupe panel is 7'' 1/2 this info is from a Sacramento vintage ford catalog

Re: Rear Panel under TRUNK LID 1930-31 2 Attachment(s)
I don't have my '30 here where I am to check the holes, but the '30 outer panel has a stamped reveal across the bottom, the '28/9 doesn't.

Re: Rear Panel under TRUNK LID 1930-31 There is a long right angled piece that is mounted to the the outer panel below the trunk. There are six 10-32 (if I remember correctly) machine screws that secure the right angled piece to the outer panel (to the D nuts in the outer panel). There are 4 holes (with D nuts) in the right angled piece to fasten the inner panel to.
