1933-34 Ford pickup dash light
 

Can anybody tell me where the dash light bulb is fitted on a 1933-34 pickup? I can't find a housing on the back of the dash.

Above the speedometer; there should be a bracket to insert the bulb socket and wire assembly.

Here's a picture of the dash light bracket. It attaches behind the dashboard with the central screw the holds the dash board.

I figured the housing bracket must mount behind the central dash screw, following the reply from David G. I didn't have the bracket itself when posting the question but I have since located it among my parts and it all make sense now. Thanks for the help!

Hello, Would you happen to know the part number for the bracket and light? I have 46 13727 but not sure if its correct. It came out of a 1933 Model BB pickup truck

I posted one such bracket For Sale. The switch and lamp are reproduced. It must ground to the dash and the dash must then ground for complete circuit, no pads behind the dash screws. Newc
