Rear brake hardware

Hey guys, where in your opinion is the best place to get rear brake hardware?
I’m rebuilding the rear brakes on my 28 Tudor and I’ve seen different opinions on where to get the stuff.
Who makes the best quality parts or are they mostly the same from all the suppliers?
I need everything but the backing plates and brake rods.

I used Snyder's and Bratton's for mine, I couldn't really tell a quality difference. A couple of parts I had to order from Mac's since I couldn't find the pieces anywhere else. Again no problems with receiving parts or quality of the parts.
One thing I will tell you, If you don't already have the brakes apart, take plenty of pictures. I found out a picture is much better than my memory.

Snyder's great place to deal with, re-did brake system (cast iron) and lots of smalls, one new part broke in my hand (parking brake toggle) they stood behind the product, sent me a new one and paid the return postage for the broken part. Can't get much better then that! Will also take time to talk with you on the phone. They have been in business for a long time, there's a reason for that. Good people. My opinion..... yes we all have one.http://20180131_101056.jpg

If you need everything you might check the complete "Rebuilt Backing Plates" most vendor sell. They include all parts.... Check with Randy Gross also.

Thanks all! I have purchased a lot of parts from Mac's but I've heard from a few people that some companies make better brake hardware than others lately.

What about Bert's Model A Center? Anyone ever get parts from them?

Then there is Randy Gross. You won't regret dealing with him.

How is they’re shipping and return Tom? I’m nervous to deal with them being so far away from me.
But they look like they’re a few bucks cheaper than most and they carry good parts.

Shipping is actual cost, and very fast.
I've never had to return a thing, but I'm sure it would be no problem.

Thanks, I was not expecting Hemming's to do an article on my car because our club's Model A's were there for calendar pictures.

Like most other reproduced Model A parts, I don't think you'll find 10 different vendors each designing, engineering, and sourcing their own brake small parts. The market just isn't big enough.

I use Bert's all the time. Wonderful service and parts and USPS ships to me in Florida from Denver in TWO days. Doesn't get any better than that. In addition to great service and parts they also have lots of GOOD used parts. I have bought a lot of used parts from them and had NO problems. They even put a spring together for me for my 29 Roadster.

I also use Snyder's and have had excellent service and advice from them. We are really fortunate to have both of them.
