Water drain plugs on a 59-series block- What thread pitch are they?

In the process of doing up my 59 AB. The machine shop lost those two plugs on the lower sides of the block that drain out the coolant.

Can someone tell me what thread pitch these plugs are? They don't look like to pipe thread, but I can be wrong.

Thanks,

Tim

1/4 inch pipe fit in mine or 1/4 petcocks. I don't think it is a special thread.

Thanks all! Now on to figuring out which oil gallery plugs my block had. Can't even tell you how angry I am at the machine shop.

As I recall, a 1/8" pipe plug with a funny appendage behind the cam gear. And a brass plug behind the flywheel. Jack E/NJ
