Rear fender with an M stamped on it.

A friend sent me a picture of a rear fender off of a 31 Coupe that has a fairly large capitol M stamped on the inside flange. Anyone seen this before?

"Maybe" it means METAL, not PLASTIC--LOL

I have the M on my Vicky's rear fender.
It is also noted in the new Restoration Guidelines (13-8)

Yes, that is a fender that was manufactured by Moore Stamping, -a vendor for Ford. They also supplied other body & tool stampings..
