Plating Companies to add to list...

Would like to add more plating companies to the list. If you have a reputable plating company for which you have used for plating the various items for your Model A or AA Ford, please let me know so others will know also.

Please provide the plating services that they provide.

Thanks.

Pluck

Hey Pluck
How about reputable plating companies in Mexico. There must be some. Lots of companies of all kinds have left the oppresive envoronmental laws in the US.

I've had good experinces with Pacific Plating in San Diego,3033 Jefferson St. They are less expensive and quicker than the other plating shop in town. Their plant is in Tijuana but their office is in Old Town San Diego. Copper, nickle, chrome, stainless and aluminum plating and polishing services. Talk to Steve @ 619-295-0496.

Henderson Plating & Polishing
305 NE 37th St.
Oklahoma City, Ok. 73105
405 525 7742

I have used Lester several times for emergency brake handles and rear bumpers. He also does nice work on polishing stainless steel.
Don't even ask about a web site or email, once you see the building you will see why. But the work is good.

I’ve had great results from New England Chrome. They have an excellent reputation in the auto restoration community. They aren’t cheap, but you can be assured they dispose of their waste properly to preserve the planet for our grandchildren. Nice folks too, you can meet them at Hershey and Carlisle

I wonder how much that place in TJ would charge to plate a 29 radiator shell. A place here in Northern California quoted $500-$600.

That sounds like a good price. It is a lot more here in WA.

There are at least three in my area that have destroyed parts for me and left me to replace them for the customer at my cost. So consult me before listing any from the Kansas City area.
