How is the back of a 30 ccpu cab attach to the subrails?
 

I bought a cab and bed off a fellow ford barn member and am in the process of fixing up the repairs to my standards.

I have the back of the cab all done and am ready to attach it to the subrails but would like to know how it was done originally before I screw something up.

I the inner portion... I know the triangular brackets rivit to the subrails but don't know if they get welded to the channel that the wood goes,into??

I am assuming the bottom flange of the back,panel gets spot welds to the bottom of the subrails channel. But not sure if the triangular pieces that slip inside the wood channel get welded??

I tried looking though them.... Can't see any of the pics except a handful.

Hope these photos will help.
There is a shim shoved between the triangular bracket and the rail...that's there to stop a squeak.

Thanks.... Still hard to tell where it is welded....guess I will just have to use my judgment.

I went and looked at my cab and there are the three rivets holding the bracket to the subrail and a few spot welds holding it to the cab back.

Mine was only riveted. No welds.
