1941 pickup door stop question Anyone know what keeps the door stop arm from rattling with the door closed. I can feel the hole in the door that the arm goes through and two tabs that are bent out of the way (1 on top and 1 on the bottom). I'm thinking that those need to be bent back towards the arm, but is there a piece of rubber for it to ride on or is it metal to metal. I see they sell the rubber stopper or the whole arm, but that's it.

Re: 1941 pickup door stop question Ok, I can see in there now. So no tabs just 2 push type clips and the inner panel is pushed towards the outer panel.....this sound right, to my eye it looks like the inner panel where the rubber stop hits should be flat not concave.

Here's some REALLY crappy pics.
1st one is inside the door and second is looking into the door stop arm hole. |
Re: 1941 pickup door stop question I'm thinking now that if it's loose at the rivet on the door jamb (or bolt in my case) it will bounce around.
