spark plug tidbit for the day

The chain oil tank cap rattled off my old Stihl chain saw this morning while cutting fire wood. Never gonna find it out in the woods. So what to do? Turns out that Model A spark plugs have the same threads, so I used one of my cylinder head painting plugs plus a rubber O-ring and was able to cut wood the rest of the day. Doesn't leak oil.
Has anyone else found "new" uses for Model A parts?

I'm surprised the O ring didn't burn through. That's a good O ring.

When my Friend, Tom Hara, fishes in the turbulent water & BIG rocks, just below the dam, he closes the gap on a spark plug, attaches it to his line with a LIGHT leader, & casts where the BIG FISH are. If it hangs up, jist a jerk & it's GONE! Down at the Picnic Area, little KIDS collect SPARK PLUGS--LOL
OH, I have a GENERATOR, on a Crouched Doily, as a center piece, on my Kitchen Table---WHY? I ran out of room in my Bathroom.
In my GREAT ROOM, I have an OLD TRUNK, for a Coffee Table, the lock looks like it was Shot out, from the INSIDE, with a .45--Wish I knew that "STORY"?????
Bill Decorator?

Well Bill Spark, just make sure your polarity and coil is in tip top shape for those gals, or they will drain your battery.:)
