Instrument clusters 1 Attachment(s)
I talked to Bubba at the Franklin In. swap meet and car show in Sept. and showed him some pictures of my works and he said I should post them for others to see. Here are a few of the ones I do.

Re: Instrument clusters Nice work. Will you do 12v conversions on these ?
|
Re: Instrument clusters Bill,12V conversions sure would be nice. Also, do you do 49 Merc gauges?
|
Re: Instrument clusters I believe the best way to use them in the 12 volt system is to use a 12 volt to 6 volt reducer (or regulator) and use the original senders. The senders and gauges should match. The King Seeley gauges are very good quality. I haven't done any of the 49 Merc. gauges, I keep busy doing the 1940 ford cars, 1940-50 ford pickups (100) MPH and the Big trucks (60) MPH and the 1940-49 Internationals.

Re: Instrument clusters Dang it, Id love to have about 5 of those clusters for the 42-47 trucks! Absolutely beautiful and I can actually SEE the numerals on the gauge face. I'll start saving. Thanks for posting!
