160B Town Sedan rear fender Could someone please describe the difference in design of the correct fender for a 1931 Town sedan (slant Window). I know there I a "dimple" for a rivet or bolt. I am going to Hershey in search of one. What would be fair value for such a fender? If you have a photo it would also help.
Thanks so much. |
Re: 160B Town Sedan rear fender Do you have access to a copy of the judging standards? I thought all the '30-'31 sedan fenders were the same

Re: 160B Town Sedan rear fender Are you looking for front or rear? I have a spare left rear if you want it.

Re: 160B Town Sedan rear fender I make those and have a template as to where it goes. Don't make lack of that dimple be a factor; easy fix. If you are building a true show car then you need to look for mfg markings, etc., also.

• Beginning in March 1931, all sedan fenders had a dimple stamped into the inside rear skirt. The dimple was added to provide clearance for a body rivet on the 160 series sedans. see attached file |
