I know there are quite a few posts on this but the last couple weeks there were a few questions concerning the 11A helmet distributor. This was from one of those posts with a no start broken point spring question...
In the interest of time i will just throw it out there with some pics.
Questions ????

Nice job. I still from time to time find a 11A distributor. I believe the old timers knew about this advantage. How much maximum advance will a flat head take and run good?

We found on our Bonneville flathead we lost power any above 24-26 degrees.
The 11A at 22 degrees seems to work very well.......

Looking forward to receiving my unit recently put on order with Bubba.
An 11A with a Vertex magneto condenser along with a rebuilt "Skip" coil.
This set up should give a noticeable difference along with a recently fitted Uncle Max Stromberg 97. A little bit of a Spring Clean tune up for the 39 Standard Coupe.
These people provide excellent service considering we are located Down Under!

I found my best overall response was 22 degrees advance. Thanks

Your web site is nice, but the title is Home, so when someone makes a bookmark, it does not say Bubba, but it just says Home, which might be difficult to understand when searching book marks for Bubba.

Your experience is always refreshing. I would be very interested in the details of that advance curve - static, 1500, 2000, 2500, all in at 3000?

How do you think that should be modified on a blown flathead?

You need to get into the code for the web site. The name of the site is near the top of the code page. When I used a PC, I could look at it by clicking "view source", but my mac does not have that feature.
