How Long did they produce parts after the last one was built

If this has been asked before sorry I did not see it. How long did Ford continue to make parts for the modeL A after the last one was built. When was the latest you able to go to a dealer and pretty much order anything that came with the car. I always was just curious . I know the hard parts were around for a long time but how long was it . Thanks

Quite a while.

But..

They started outsourcing parts and not following the same level of quality as production years. So it is wise to check any NOS parts that may not be from the production years.

Actually, many parts, mostly body tin, would have ended with the body dies being shipped to Russia. It's my understanding that Stalin never paid Henry Ford for this transfer of wealth. But did he make HF a hero of socialist Labor?

Your question suggests to me that you believe all parts production stopped at a given date in the past. Actually it was gradual an item or two at a time, and the last time I checked points and condensers were still available in red and white Motorcraft small boxes. That was about 5 years ago so I am not up to date on those items from Ford Motor Company today as the quantity I bought then is not used up.
