Any 41 Ford car gurus?

Are all 41 car frames the same... or interchangeable? Got a coupe body with no frame under it, got a separate 41 convertible frame, and one unknown 41 frame. I am betting the last is a sedan frame but not sure. I appreciate any help. Ron

I think the convertible frame is the same, Ford used metal spacers instead of rubber to mount body to frame. Get yourself the 41-48 Ford book from the Early Ford V8 Foundation, it will answer a lot of you questions.

Ford liked to use the X member type frame for convertibles but that wasn't till a good bit after the war. They did usually add a couple of small reinforcement pieces though on the pre war cars to help stiffen them up a bit.
