Re: speed bleeders I installed them a couple of years ago and they work great. Only problem is I can bleed alone and don,t have the wife out to do the pump and hold. If you have drum retainers on the rear get the longer ones.

Re: speed bleeders I have bought them here http://www.speedbleeder.com/ direct. They work well.

Re: speed bleeders Well, I have the dreaded DOT 3 in my system so I bleed the lines every year (3500 miles each year + or -). 10 years now and no problems.

Re: speed bleeders I use Speed Bleeders but here's a design never heard of.

Re: speed bleeders I just installed my first set on my '40, they worked great. Best thing is that I no longer have to listen to the ex-wife, daughter or present girl-friend whine about helping bleed the brakes... that is blessing enough.

fits easier and so does the bleeder hose. Use 7/16 box end wrench. The number for the long Speed Bleeders that I used on my 40 is SB3824L. Buy 4. They will also fit your car. They cost me $28 plus $6.00 shipping in 2011. Note: 1939 MT Products backing plates and drum are shown in the photos but the long bleeders will also work on the 41 set up. |
Re: speed bleeders $600 shipping is a little steep ain't it?....... Mark
