28 Fordor Leatherback gas tank paint questions
 

A friend is helping me get my replacement tank ready to install. My car is a mostly original (except for color) driver. We are wondering what kind (brand) of paint to use as an exterior primer. Also what kind (brand) of paint would be recommended for the final color of the tank. My original tank appears to be painted black in the interior dashboard area and the original body color in the exterior firewall area. I am considering painting the entire tank black. I do not plan to change the current color of the car (see avatar).
