new home this spring

well I getting tired of tarping the lil speedster allways incase of rain, so decided to add and old school style lean to to an exisiting shed here. turned out good, I had to build the back wall backwards to get just enough room. now I have a dry spot, and built a lil bench in there to store all my A parts to. also started hanging up all the old signs and stuff on the walls. got a couple old garage lights one going up inside one on the outside. even used a window out of my grandfathers old barn. all in all I'm prity happy. coulda been bigger but however.its even guard dog approved !

Saweet!! But I doubt that will be enough room for the collection of A parts you will find with the new space to keep them out of the weather. :) Great dog.

That's a much better shelter than tarping the speedster. What ya gonna do now with the tarp???:D

Looks good beater! The speedster looks like it just does fit, but with enough room for a bench and signs... you are in good shape.
Now, heat, electrical. TV and you are SET for next winter!!

Form follows function! Looks like you got all you could out of what you had to work with.
congratulations. If you were in Calif. it would have taken a year to get all the permits before you built it.

Good job, looks like the one I built for the back of the barn, Thought I was all set but the tax man caught up to me when he came and measured the barn. The wood floor is the way to go, less moisture problems.

What hoods did you use for the speedster tail? I used a 41 Hudson hood on a 29 speedster a long time ago. Think it's in California now.

Re: new home this spring

used two 47 IHC truck hoods. its not my idea as I saw another built like that on here and one like it online. they work very well and even they were a bit hard to find, but a LOT easyer to find than a 40 ford car hood, or, a Hudson hood. these two hoods came off wrecked grain trucks so I don't feel bad about using them
