'48 F-1 Truck Wiper Arm Length

Are they the same length for both the passenger and driver side?
Or maybe I should say were they originally the same length......

If you are going to run both use 9" or 10" blades. Also do not use a strong spring arm.
Vacuum wipers need all the help you can give them.
Your milage may vary.

Re: '48 F-1 Truck Wiper Arm Length

Yup. Looking at 10" wipers. I need to scrutinize the linkage/
transmission and eliminate some "slop" there.....
Planning on doing that tonight.

Huh. All the play in the right side wiper was apparently the
lack of a bushing where the linkage connects to the wiper
motor. Interestingly enough, a common rubber grommet
fit right in there. (0.5" OD, 0.419" ID & 0.068" thick)
I knew I'd use one of those Harbor Freight grommets
eventually......
