Help identify these lights 5 Attachment(s)
I recently acquired these lights and I don't know what car they are correct for.
I think the fin on top might be a give-away to its identity. I'm going to try and sell these but don't want to misrepresent them. Thank you in advance. |
Re: Help identify these lights Do the lenses have any markings, what kind of bulb does it have --my Citroen has a similar ornament, but it is glass
|
Re: Help identify these lights I didn't see any markings on the glass, The bulb looks like the bulb that was in a 39 Ford I had. I have not opened these up yet, I only lightly wiped all the raccoon crap off them. I will clean them up after work and present better pics.

Re: Help identify these lights You might post the photos on the AACA website, they have expertise with a wide variety of cars.

Re: Help identify these lights Those are the depressed beam style. You push the glass in a little and then give a small turn. If i remember correctly the glass is not 100% round. If they are full of crud between the glass and the rim it will keep you busy. Use water or wd40 and air to blow clean. Maybe Nash or Pontiac.

Re: Help identify these lights 3 Attachment(s)
Well, I did a search for headlights of early 30's automobiles. I found 3 1934 Plymouth's with the same headlights. I will list these on the HAMB for sale.
Thank you everyone for your help. |

You might also list them on the Plymouth Owners Club website (http://plymouthbulletin.com/noahsclassifieds/index.php) - you have to register to post an ad. It's free but you have to do it by email - that's how they control spam. Your lights look to be complete and in good shape - I expect someone restoring a 34 Plymouth would snap them up for top dollar. |
Re: Help identify these lights I was unaware of that site. Thank you very much for the referral.

You're very welcome. I used to have old Plymouths (not 34s though) so I know it's hard to find parts - not as many repros as for Model A. No doubt somebody is looking for those lights. BTW, I'm no expert but it appears the fins were used only on the Deluxe models - more pix here: http://www.ply33.com/Models/PE/ |
