Always Learning 3 Attachment(s)
It's amazing how much we can learn from each other just by reading miscellaneous posts. After reading a post from Blockhead called "Sometimes..." I realized that I have this light bar on the shelf. While I haven't starting thinking about the light bar, my plan was to use the cast light bar, rather than the stamped one, just because it looked more original. Thanks for saving me from making that mistake. This light bar is cracked on one side and previously repaired on the other, but worth saving, right?

Re: Always Learning Sure looks to me like its worth saving. Looks like a fairly easy fix to get it looking pretty again.

Re: Always Learning Very rare piece there. Only used for June til September of 30 or there abouts. I would fix it and use it if it's correct for your car
|
Re: Always Learning Bob C suggested in a post earlier this year that it was used May to August 1930. The car is late-May. Can anyone else confirm the dates these bars were used?
|
Re: Always Learning That could be correct. I'm going off memory. It's listed in the judging standards

Re: Always Learning Interesting! I didn't know about the stamped light bar either. Love learning new things!

Re: Always Learning If you like this kinda stuff...try the restoration guidelines and judging standards

Re: Always Learning Post # 1: "This light bar is cracked on one side and previously repaired on the other."
-------------------------------- - Makes it easy to see why Ford dropped this design and replaced it with a heftier designed headlite bar. |
