1931 model A steering wheel orientation.

Originally, are the 1931 steering wheel spokes at X or + while going straight?
Thanks.
My wheel has dual keyways where either way would be correct, so was it a personal preference?

Mitch beat me to it but it is in the service bulletins page 230 and it is so you can orientate it so the speedometer is visible and not obstructed at straight ahead position.
See where yours is at straight ahead and gauge if you wish to move it or not.
