I don't think they advertise it on their site currently, but call them up, they'll make you one. |

Re: 35-36 couple roof incert to fill roof. If you can find a 1949-53 chevy pickup or truck cab that is junk, the panel below the back window will fit perfectly. The curve both ways is almost perfect. I made a pattern of the hole in the car roof out of cardboard and cut the steel out of the cab about a half inch to inch bigger and then trimmed to fit. Instead of welding it in, I drill 1/8 holes and used plastic push in T fasteners. A layer of felt and then black marine vinyl to finish. Cut your steel right and you can use the original rubber molding around the edge. Good luck. Rod

Re: 35-36 couple roof incert to fill roof. Lots of older articles (Rod Mags) on what donor cars have the best shape. The HAMB might be a good source for this question.

Re: 35-36 couple roof incert to fill roof. For my 33 I made one using the skin from a UK Ford Focus Hood. It came out really well. I'll put a link up to the build thread.
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/t....717169/page-3 Post 70 describes the method. It gets finished later in the build thread. Mart. |
