35 Running Board Repair I'm working on an original pair of 35 running boards and need some advice on
what product to use to fill pits and imperfections on the cover side. I read in another post quite some time ago that it's best to use something other than plastic filler. What product is available that would be suitable to use that would have metal flakes in it which someone suggested in that post? Peter |
Re: 35 Running Board Repair I have used a product called Alvin Lab Metal with very good results. It is a paste like product that hardens like metal. Can be filed, drilled, etc when fully cured.
This stuff has been around for ages, so it must work. |
Re: 35 Running Board Repair PC7 is good too. Doesn't crack or peel off. Easy to work with. Sands easily.

Re: 35 Running Board Repair Thanks guys. I have some fairly new PC-7 left over from my steering wheel
repair. I'll use that. Peter |
