When I first received "Rusty" and now. Just waiting on rear spring and dropping the motor in! I wouldn't have got this far without the "Barn"!!! Thank you!

just think, there is a finite amount of bolts and parts to build a car, if all you get accomplished in a day is cleaning up a handful of bolts then its still one step closer. Looks great btw! Its always fun to be in the rebuilding phase.

That is how my late '31 Budd cab pickup truck came was in pieces and on a "Jerr Built" flatbed tilt truck. The cab was on sideways and there was a '30/31 roadster cowl on the frame with a later ('33 -or- '34) four-banger. The pictures are very reminiscent of my project. Enjoy the journey!!

Thanks guys! I probably do 20 hours or more a week. With something like this project your always finding something else that needs fixed, replaced or trashed. I think I am beyond that on the chassis. I have a rebuilt engine, I rebuilt the trans, steering box and will putting on drums / hubs with new seals and bearings this weekend along with painting my blasted wheels. If I could ever get my rear spring in I would be happy.

Does rear spring not go up into cross member?

I usually put spring in by itself, leave it loose at U bolts, then attach shackles and tighten everything (don't tighten shackle bars, just snug and loosen one castle).
