The car was very rough. in the back above spare tire holder was pushed in and they tried to push it out one rear fender was full of bonds.Bad leaks on engine,transmission and both ends of drive tube? front axle top leaf spring was broken and repaired with a cobbled weld. the man would not come off of$7500 and I am not paying that.

You did the right thing on passing this up. Just take some time and you will find the RIGHT one ! I bought my first A when I was in the military and always had one or two at a time. I am only 69 years young ?

Micheal you were wise to pass this one up. There are TOO many really nice Tudors that will get you in the driver's seat for around eight grand, just hit the key and go. I've seen some really nice cars sell in this range, with good paint jobs and correct interiors, etc.

Today's paint and body work costs are the kiss of death for a Model A, you can get in pretty deep pretty fast unless you are skilled enough to turn out a professional grade job,,,, even then the cost of automotive paint has gone bonkers due to an overly aggressive EPA.

agreed, this is one door that should stay closed in the old saying "when one door closes another opens" there will be plenty more. Don't be afraid to be too picky either so look at pictures and find color combinations that you like and search for them.
