Can anyone tell me what these numbers mean
 

I recently bought a used motor. It has an odd number stamped where you would expect to see the engine number (FLA 17288) but also has F176 on the other side of the block under the manifolds. Anyone have any info on these numbers?

As these are not Model A numbers they are most likely a rebuilders number. See more info in my post below.

This is an after vehicle production block and the F176 is a casting number.
