Re: Who sells best master cylinder for 40 I went to local NAPA store and they have them. What was recommended to me is a rebuild as the core would be made in USA. A new one would be made off shore from where ever. I bought the rebuilt which was a few bucks cheaper and it fit perfectly in my 1940 Sedan. Works great.
Good luck. Mike |
Re: Who sells best master cylinder for 40 Josh if you have an original then have it stainless steel sleeved and rebuilt. You can even do this with the wheel cylinders. More expensive than new replacement parts but once they're done they'll last for years especially if you keep up changing brake fluids at normal service periods. Worth the money now if you expect to keep the car for a long time to come.

Re: Who sells best master cylinder for 40 Got the one in my '39 p/u from Joe's Antique Auto. It's a Wagner made in USA. No issues as opposed to the fairly new off shore one it replaced.
