Who produced the pre bent rain gutters ? And why not today ?

Snyder's sells them for the Tudor, they were out of them but that was a while ago.

They are presently out of production. (doubt they will be offered for awhile)

The only present option ( --outside of finding originals ) is to purchase the aluminum ones. They are cheap to buy but from my experiences, difficult to install and make look decent too.

The gentleman that made them passed away, so he cannot make them anymore. The tooling has been purchased by another fellow who will be making them soon

Who is this gentleman who bought the tools ? Must be known amongst Fordists; can we contact him for a pre series ?

Hey guys I have a 1928 Tudor and on passenger side the rain gutter is about a half inch shorter than on driver side , the guy that restored it must have missed measured it . I have extra gutters but question is Do these 2 piece gutters just pry off ? I see no screw and I am assuming it's tacked to the roof beneath the top gutter part. Any help would be appreciated . Ford rain gutters on coupes and tudors are a 2 piece unit. The inner piece has a bunch of holes in it. You typically drive a nail every 3 or 4 inches. The outer piece goes over the top of the inner piece and snaps under the bottom of the inner piece.

Oh For a Bridgeport and a turntable! I would make my own damn tooling! But there is some fitutzin getting the overbend right. I got it wrong with my hard wood bending blocks, Tried the torch on it and really made a mess out of it. A real low point!

Vermin has NO gutters, just HIDE-EM-WELT, looks good, nobody even notices! DON'T TELL ANYONE, PLEASE.

He might still be making them, but the shipping would be incredible! :)

I guess you'd always have to consider the cost of making them, tooling and time -and probably in many different styles-against the demand for the product and what you could reasonably sell them for.

That's probably a junction that is not cost-effective at this time.

Hi quick question about Rain Gutters
working on my 29 coupe and my question is when you nail the base plate on it seems like it will be too tight to snap on the actual gutter

am i being a wuss or what?
