My Dad worked for Western Electric, Kearny for 43 years and the Ford plant was next door. Both could be seen from the Pulaski Skyway. When ford was done with the plant they sold it to Western Electric. Dad took me on a tour of the building in the 60s IIRC I believe it was on Fishhouse Rd., Kearny. If IRC, It had a very wavy floor. Something I'd never seen before or since.

How about at the corner of Central Ave. and Ford Ln.?

The "Late in 1928.....New Jersey" does not make sence as the NEW Edgewater plant was not opened for assembling Model A's until December 8, 1930.

Can you please elaborate to us? I realize this is from Goooogle and they must of made a mistake???

Pluck, not related to your question, but I want to again emphasize there is a lot of misinformation (crap) on the internet and everyone should take what they find out there with much skepticism and not regard it as gospel.

I found more things spelling it Kearney... western electric purchased the property from what i read and it was on Central ave

They area is called the meadowlands (giants stadium is there today) which still exsists, all marsh lands etc.. maybe back then it didnt have a physical address

The address of the NY office was 500 Northern Boulevard in Long Island City in December 1927
The address of the NYC Branch was 1710 Broadway in 1928

Look at the buildings at this location in satellite view. This is 110 Central Ave. I am pretty sure this is where the 5 Ford buildings were, later sold to Western Electric.

I have one that came out of a group of photos of Ford Assembly plants in one of the pre-Model A/AA Ford Industries booklet..1925-1927.

By googling Western Electric, Fishhouse Rd, Kearny, Nj I was able to get Wikpedia , South Kearny and it refers to a rt 659 using Central Ave, Fish house rd, and another road. I use Western Electric because it was better known than Ford in that locality. Western was there much longer and employee thousands, actually Generations of families. This is one of Ford's smaller, lesser known sites and there is less known about it. Once again, Good Luck!
