Electric wiper parts guy I found an ad for fellow named Tom Burkhart in Stockton, CA who advertises electric wiper parts. It is an old listing and the phone number answering machine says I have reached somebody else. Anybody know if he is still in the biz? Thanks.

Re: Electric wiper parts guy I think Doug Clayton (a Fordbarn member) might be able to help you. He is involved with Mick Isbell's former Model A Wipers business. You might sent him a PM and see if he can help you. Just search for his name for the PM.

Re: Electric wiper parts guy Thanks for all of the leads. Model A Wipers is the guy in Stockton, and is apparently no longer in business. I called Mr. Holland per Mr. Tuleys suggestion and he said the part I am after is currently not being reproduced, but a business that did make them is currently for sale. That could be Mick Isbells, who I recall may have passed.
Looks like an opportunity to make a couple of bucks and more importantly, help the hobby. |
Re: Electric wiper parts guy What wiper style are you looking for?

Re: Electric wiper parts guy I have an ad in the Model A wanted section. I am after the switch lever for a Hienz HA-C1. I have since corresponded with Doug Clayton, and he is going to follow a lead for me. I have found that with little effort, I can always get some insight or needed part here on Fordbarn. It has become a very valuable resource for me in my quest for a better restoration.

Re: Electric wiper parts guy No, but I did need that too, and bought it. The lever I need looks very similar, but operates the on/off switch.
