I'm attaching pictures here of the rebuild from the chassis with the motor to pretty much where the truck stands today.

Re: Progress on my '38 Tonner - part 2

Hey Guys, thanks so much for the wonderful comments. Bob C.: when I got the truck it had part of the vacuum booster for the breaks, but the canister was missing, so that's not going back right now. Didn't have any luck yet on finding the missing part and getting that figured out.

This is one I have. It looks like you have the foot control valve, are you
missing the vacuum cylinder?

I see that what you have includes a number of components. I was under the impression that I was missing the vacuum cylinder only, but it looks like there may be more. I'm attaching a couple of pictures of the foot control valve that I have.

Keep up the great work and the best is just around the corner: driving!!!

It took me a long, long time for me and my truck was from Middletown, CT.
