Lug nut question and wiper comment I put on new ss lug nuts and they came with the washers my lug nut holes on the wheels did not seem to be worn and the old nut were tight but i used the washers and the nuts and torqued them to the correct torque setting Any reason why this would not be good?
I recieved my vacuum wiper back from a man in redmond oregon who was recommended to me by Bert's in denver the place is called clean wipe wiper service and this wiper works fantastic. |
Re: Lug nut question and wiper comment You need to mic the depth of the threaded area of the lug nut and then compare to what threads are sticking out of the wheel sans the washer. There are some lug nuts manufactured that are not deep enough, ...thus they bottom out on the threads and the taper never fully seats against the wheel.
