Turn signals Here is what I'm using on my 41. I have to run a wire to the left parking light and the stop light switch. My harness already has two wires for turn signals on the rear. I also have to run three more wires to the firewall side of the dash harness. Costs a little more but is self canceling by time. If you put on the brakes it pauses the canceling. Pretty clever IMHO.

Re: Turn signals Nice. Slick little deal. Where did you get that at? I saw something similar at Speedwaymotors.com

Re: Turn signals 1 Attachment(s)
I have one in my roadster and it works great. You do have to have a filtered generator or alternator and spiral core type plug wires.

Re: Turn signals I have the same unit on my '40 and they work great. I chose to put separate orange lensed lights on the front bumper and red lensed lights on the rear bumper. I wired the turn signals and the brake lights into the added rear lights so I now have the stock tail lights/stop lights and the added ones come on when I hit the brakes. Much brighter, gains at least a little more attention and they don't look all that bad.

Re: Turn signals One note on amber colored front turn signals. I have '56 VW in front(similar to '41's) and I installed amber bulbs. People complained that they didn't show up because the T/S were just above the headlights. I switched to Ron Francis "bright bulbs" in front. Made a huge difference.

Re: Turn signals I have the same unit on my 41 Ford as well as my 36 Ford. They work fantastic. I polished the aluminum turn switch on the steering column and it looks like it was factory original.
