Ford model 92 carb
 

I have a ford model 92 carb with 81 also stamped on it - does anybody know what this goes on.it also aa-7/8 on it And approx value ? Thanks

aa-7/8 probably refers to ventura diameters. The model 92's were no where near as popular as Stromberg 81's.

I have used many Holley 92s. They work well as singles on downdraft Models A. Usually the smaller accelerator pump and jets are the limiting factors. The rest is all Chandler Groves common including the problems in multiples. I usually pay $75 for really nice ones with a lot of the original chromate. Rebuilt Carbs with little to none of the chromate are seldom of interest to me. Other buyers don't care about the chromate so good luck to them. Fred A
