Another Trans Tower Question

Long story short-Has anyone used tension pins instead of the rivets on the shifter forks? In rebuilding my tower, I had both. I know the rivets are the original way to do it, but I like tension pins. Any problems with using the tension pins?

if you mean roll pins, or split pins, then yes it is done all the time, and they are waaaay easier to install

Yes, I do mean roll pins. My bins at the hardware store say "tension Pins". I knew there was
a better name to describe this. Just to add to this, the rivets I bought seem kind of cheap.

I'm going with the roll pins. Thanks Guys!
