2 year search ended, brought this home

Well after searching for about two years, I finally found a pre-war coupe. Here is a pic. It's a 1941 sedan coupe, I think it's Lockhaven green? I added a couple of more pictures in my album, flathead V8, one re-paint 10 years or so ago, will need a new headliner. One of the owners added dual exhaust, and relocated the coil, other wise stock.

Two years? Great work and good for you on the patience. Cool cars or cars that you specifically want seem to come out in dribbles and drabs. Just have to be that patient to get the one you want.

Hi Everyone. corvette8n you are one lucky guy to get to drive that whenever you want! Well done.

Let's see what's under the hood, eh? I'm heading to see your album now.

Nice car! When it comes time for that new headliner, you might want to check out Cartouche (through Mac's).I installed one in my'36 and it fit perfectly. It seems it was around $200 and easy to install. Have fun!

"Pre war" to you Americans but "wartime" to us British Commonwealth countries....we'd already been fighting for 2 years :)

Nice car by the way.

Corvette,

Nice car. You will enjoy driving it, I know I would. I saw some of your photos in your album. That is an interesting coil set up utilizing the helmet distributor. Post some more photos of the interior of the car if you can please.

Beautiful car, congratulations. I am wondering about your rear view mirrors. On my 48 there are cowl mount mirrors on both sides, right side is useless and left is marginal. I notice that you have the door mounted mirrors on both sides. Have you driven your 41 enough to have an opinion on your mirrors yet?
