29/30 Tranies the same?

Hi, will a 29 Trany fit to a 30 with no problems? Thanks Gino

Yes, but the parking brake in 29 was located in front of the shift lever for the first half of the year.

Also check the spacing for the rear bearing retainer. Earlier transmissions had uneven spacing for the 6 bolts, and people mix and match parts, so you may have to change the retainer.

Thank you sir, I'll look into this further before I buy.

1928 - 1931 transmissions have the same fit and function, but not the same form. Ford made several internal changes to the transmission during Model A production, and you can see these changes in the service bulletins.
