One more step.
 

The cowl section of my 29 tudor is in epoxy primer. Primer surfacer tomorrow. Block sanding comes next. Then comes the color coat. Then finally I get to color sand and buff. I must be nuts! But at least being on the "barn", I know I am not alone. :D

to me the '29s, with the coupe pillar, the small hood, the front fender design, bumper design, etc. create a cute "antique" appearance to them. I know there are negative aspects to the 1929 models but I'm speaking merely of aesthetics.

It is a single stage. This was my second time doing a cut and buff. I'm always scared to ruin the paint but I just kept getting a little more aggressive till I started seeing results.

One of them is the 29 steering column. I solved that problem by having Randy Gross convert mine to the F-100 steering box!

If you lay on 3 decent coats of SS or clear you should have enough to work with....when dry each coat is 1 mil, and you will color sand off 1 mil.

Too many newbies try to skimp on the paint....ya gotta have paint on there to work with....and passes should overlap 50%
